Mind and World by Tullio DeSantis
I am inspired by the space between the world and the mind. I see my work as a kind of landscape of the mind…the mind as it encounters the universe. This is my subject. It has never been quite clear to me where the mind ends and the world begins…they often appear to be one and the same. But in the same way that self and other, subject and object, I and Thou, can be considered separately, the world and the mind constitute the polarities of my experience. And yet, it has always been very clear to me they share a common center, the compassionate heart.
